This baking stone is great! It is my first attempt at baking bread and it works beautifully. It was also a very good value at about $40. I haven't tried pizza yet, that's next.

Ok, I am new to pizza making! And this is the perfect tool! Here are things that WOW'd me.

You can move it from the freezer directly into the oven. No cracking (says so in the instruction manual). I tried this from the fridge to the oven, and no problems.

I like the size. I like how it's not SUPER heavy so if you have to take the stone out after baking, it's not impossible/dangerous.

Cooks evenly. I can't wait to try cookies on it.

Also, this retailer sent me a bonus scraper tool, which was really nice. exceeded expectations.

I have a portable convection oven that takes 12" pizza pans and this is the perfect size for that. Most stones are 13" and were too big.

I bake cookies and biscuits perfectly and evenly every time. Just be sure to pre-heat the stone. The company says to use foil when baking cookies - I did it once - it's not necessary - avoid that!

The company advocates not to use water all when cleaning. Just use a metal scraper after the stone cools. That works perfect for me. I keep a small size Pampered Chef spatula handy for that.

I have been using this oven for over a month now. I am very please with its performance as I have used almost all of its function. The only thing that I have yet to try is to dehydrate fruits. I had a toaster oven in the past that took a long time to toast, so I was pleasantly surprised that this unit toasted so quickly and well. The pizza that I have baked in this oven comes out great as well. I purchased this unit because I don't like to turn on the big oven to cook just for myself. I find that this oven works well, fast, keeps my kitchen cooler and saves energy.

I was concerned about the comment about the temperature setting being in Celcius, but I am glad I purchased the oven because the one I received comes with the correct Farenheit temperature setting. So, I called the customer service office and was told that all models are set for Farenheit temperature.

This pizza oven is awesome. Our family loves it. Its great for some quality family time. We get all the fixins ready before hand. Roll out some homemade dough or buy from local pizza place. Dont use cheap dough. It takes about 10 minutes to warm up. Once its hot you can keep cookin non stop. Dont worry when the kids stack to much on it and it drips all over the inside cooking plate, it cleans up very easy.I wish I would have bought it sooner.
